PersonasQue Offices

This project turned a very aseptic space, which had been an art gallery, into a start-up’s headquarters. They needed a friendly, welcoming, and personable atmosphere.

Our job consisted of designing pieces to give the space personality, identity, and warmth. These pieces were made of cork panelling to give the office texture and colour, and help control noise, and adapt to the company’s mentality.

To unify the image in the offices, horizontal cork stripes were also used to unify the workstations and sheet metal shelving installed for employees to store their paperwork. The horizontal lines and long tables offer flexibility to prepare for future company growth and employee movement. It also makes collaborators equals, since there are no hierarchies in the company. Our use of colour was also quite intentional: blue in the meeting room, yellow in the small informal meeting room, and green in the offices. The colour is used in a subtle yet noticeable way.
