We were asked to participate in the Mexico City Design Week where we designed the entrance for the Espacio CDMX, a refurbished storage space that is now a Design museum.
By framing the entrance to the space, the installation work as portal between the Bosque de Chapultepec and the museum, We force the sight of the visitor to the important views of the space.
We also were invited to talk in the Anthropology Museum in Mexico city, Inside the ArchDays Forum where we talked about the way we recuperate abandoned spaces to give them a new use. All this in line with the subject of the Designweek “How to recuperate heritage spaces and give them new uses”. Cuba was the invited country and since they are dealing on how to recuperate their heritage and make the historic places alive again, it was an excellent exchange of ideas.
